Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between house and techno?
Both are made for the dance floor. House usually has a warmer, groovier rhythm, with vocals and disco influence. Techno tends to be drier and more repetitive, with more industrial sounds.
Are electronic music and dance music the same thing?
The categories overlap. Dance usually means music made for dancing, while electronic describes how it is produced, and not all electronic music is meant for the dance floor.
