Frequently asked questions
What is ambient music for?
Many people use it to relax, meditate, study or work, because it has no strong beats or lyrics that grab attention. It is a personal choice, and each person finds what works.
Does ambient have a beat?
Generally not, or it is very discreet. Related styles, such as downtempo, bring light beats, and you will find them on chill stations.
